Tuesday’s Music: Bi Rain

Since my section of “Tuesday’s Music” is the most popular on my blog as of right now, I will continue to showcase rain_bi.jpgsome of the hottest international singers. Today’s singer is another Korean singer that is very popular these days. Most people know him as “Rain” but his real name is Jeong Ji Hoon 정지훈 . You might also see him appear or talked about as “Bi Rain” too. I am guessing “Bi” has something to do with the actual hangul for “Rain.” Nonetheless, this guy is getting so famous it’s not even funny. Time Magazine, did an article on him in April of this year as one of the Top 100 People who shape the world.

Rain is truly talented and appeals to many different audiences. He really has a “triple X” factor about him. Rain can dance, sing and act. In fact, I first knew him as an actor in the popular Korean TV series “Sang Doo, Let’s go to School.” He was also in a TV series called “Full House” which was even more popular than the above mentioned. Then, I heard about him being a singer and I kind of laughed at first. But, after hearing his R&B sound I quickly changed my initial judgment. Some people call him the “Asian Usher” but whatever you want to call him, his R&B sound is quite good and fits well with the Korean language.

His concert in Madison Square Garden earlier this year was a huge success. Special guest at his concert included JoJo, Omarion and P. Diddy. And I image with stars such as P. Diddy, Rain must not be a joke.

So with that here are his albums that he has available.

Rain Vol. 1 (Bad Guy)
Rain Vol. 2

Rain Vol. 3 (It’s Raining)
Rain Vol. 4 (Rain’s World)
