The U.N. late last week released its report on climate change though the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.  The panel included over 2500 scientific experts, 800 contributing authors, 450+ lead authors from 130 countries.  This is an impressive achievement in the area of climate change as the world’s leading experts give us the findings on how our actions are affecting the earth’s climate.  You may be interested in reading the summary of the report.

On the opposite side of things, Exxon Mobile is at it again.  The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), which is according to its website a private, nonpartisan, not for profit institution dedicated to research and education on issues of government, politics, economics and social welfare is collaborating with dishonest Exxon Mobile.  AIE as a nonpartisan institution is so much further from the truth.  For one, AEI is financed mostly by Exxon Mobile.  And for the last 10 years, Exxon Mobile along with the White House has been purposely misleading the public and falsifying scientific findings on climate change.  So it was not surprising when I found out AEI is offering $10,000 to scientist to challenge the U.N. report on climate change.  Surely Exxon’s record breaking profit of $39.5 Billion could be put to better use like repaying the damages caused in Alaska.  The connection between AEI, White House and Exxon Mobile is so clear anything coming out of their mouths with respect to climate change is rubbish.
