Olbermann: Bush, Cheney should resign
‘I didn’t vote for him, but he’s my president, and I hope he does a good job.’

“I didn’t vote for him,” an American once said, “But he’s my president, and I hope he does a good job.”
That—on this eve of the 4th of July—is the essence of this democracy, in 17 words. And that is what President Bush threw away yesterday in commuting the sentence of Lewis “Scooter” Libby.
The man who said those 17 words—improbably enough—was the actor John Wayne. And Wayne, an ultra-conservative, said them, when he learned of the hair’s-breadth election of John F. Kennedy instead of his personal favorite, Richard Nixon in 1960.
“I didn’t vote for him but he’s my president, and I hope he does a good job.”
There is nothing like hearing Keith talk about what is going wrong with this country. He talks like no other newscaster out there (Lou Dobbs comes in 2nd). Listen for yourself.
“…when faced with the prospect of someone calling you on your stubbornness–your stubbornness which has cost 3,431 Americans their lives and thousands more their limbs–you, Mr. Bush, imply that if the Democrats don’t give you the money and give it to you entirely on your terms, the troops in Iraq will be stranded, or forced to serve longer, or have to throw bullets at the enemy with their bare hands. How transcendentally, how historically, pathetic.
The Democratic leadership has, in sum, claimed a compromise with the Administration, in which the only things truly compromised are the trust of the voters, the ethics of the Democrats, and the lives of our brave, and doomed, friends, and family, in Iraq.
You, the men and women elected with the simplest of directions - Stop The War - have traded your strength, your bargaining position, and the uniform support of those who elected you… for a handful of magic beans.
Let’s add Bradley Schlozman to the list of corrupt officials in the White House. He is a senior civil rights official who was hiring people based on their party affiliations. But not only that, it also looks like he was involved in disenfranchising voters.
Mission Accomplished 2003,2004,2005,2006 and here we are 2007. America let’s wake up here and get Bush out! I will let the below video speak for itself!
The president’s voice was heard by about 44% of the American population with a majority of the American population dissatisfied with his new plan. Like no other, Keith Olbermann put it like no other reporter can, in explaining how the president has lied and has not listen to previous advice giving to him.
Do you think you are still free here in America? Do you have the right to a speedy trial? Well, thank again. As a follow-up to my pervious post on Bill S 3930, I wanted to let everyone know exactly the rights that have been stripped away. As always, Keith Olbermann speaks and reports the truth on matters that are of grave importance while other networks shy away from reality.
