About the book
Visit the Bugliosi website
In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.
As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.
A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.
Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.

Spread the word…
WASHINGTON, June 9 (Reuters) - Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich defied his party leadership on Monday by calling for the impeachment of U.S. President George W. Bush for launching the Iraq war — but his move was not expected to go anywhere.
The Ohio representative outlined his intention to propose more than two dozen charges against Bush on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Kucinich, a former presidential candidate, accused Bush executing a “calculated and wide-ranging strategy” to deceive citizens and Congress into believing that Iraq posed an imminent threat to the United States.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly said she opposes trying to remove the Republican president who leaves office next January because such an attempt would be divisive and most likely unsuccessful.
Kucinich, an outspoken Iraq war critic who has consistently voted against funding the war and led anti-war efforts in Congress, offered a resolution to impeach Vice president Dick Cheney in April 2007. That also failed to move forward.
Many Democrats and civil liberties groups have accused the Bush administration of providing misleading information before the 2003 Iraq invasion as well as violating the rights of U.S. citizens with its warrantless surveillance program. The White House denies the charges.

Ohhh yes I would be suing too!
A New York man is suing the airline Jet Blue for $2 million after he was forced to sit in the airplane’s bathroom for hours during a cross-country flight. Gokhan Mutlu was flying standby from San Diego to New York. He was initially given a seat, but during the flight the pilot told him he would have to give up his seat to a flight attendant. The only other available seat on the packed flight was on the toilet.
When Mutlu expressed reluctance to go sit in the bathroom, the pilot, who was not named in the lawsuit, told him that “he was the pilot, that this was his plane, under his command that (Mutlu) should be grateful for being on board,” the lawsuit said.

So what makes the U.S. think Saudi Arabia’s civil nuclear program is anymore genuine than Iran’s??
President Bush met with Saudi King Abdullah to celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations and announce a new agreement pledging U.S. support for Saudi Arabia as it builds a civil nuclear energy program that benefits its people, observes international nonproliferation standards and prevents the spread of nuclear weapons.
“This agreement will pave the way for Saudi Arabia’s access to safe, reliable fuel sources for energy reactors and demonstrate Saudi leadership as a positive nonproliferation model for the region,” a May 16 White House fact sheet said. The agreement is one of four reached between Bush and Abdullah during a day of private talks at al Janadriyah, the King’s horse farm and retreat outside Riyadh.

I did not really see this as a joke but I will let you way in on what you guys thought?
Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is back in the news. On Friday, during a speech before the National Rifle Association, he joked about someone assassinating Barack Obama.
Mike Huckabee: “But the reality is—and I’m worried, because, frankly, within the—[crash in background]—that was Barack Obama, he just tripped off a chair. He’s getting ready to speak, and somebody aimed a gun at him, and he—he dove for the floor.”
Former governor Mike Huckabee later apologized. He said, “I made an offhand remark that was in no way intended to offend or disparage Sen. Obama.” Obama has been under Secret Service protection since last year after his campaign received racially motivated threats.
